Whether or not you are a soccer fan it would be hard to believe you are not aware of the Soccer World cup that is currently going on. In any case I thought it was interesting that as an American watching the games being played with other Americans one of them made a comment that because the teams were from different countries they could call out their plays fully because they would be in a different language and the other team would be none the wiser.
I laughed and said that is a very American way to look at it. Most of the people in Europe and other countries speak more then one language. We are just so used to speaking one language that we forget the rest of the world is for the most bilingual. This is why taking advantage of any opportunity to learn, speak and understand another language just sets you apart in America and gives you a decided advantage over your competition. And foreign language software is priced right!
